Hi-Tech Foundations by Riehle Construction was born in 1998 for the purpose of being a local dealer for the A.B. Chanceâ HELICAL PIERâ Foundation Systems. “The A.B. Chance Company has been in business since 1907.”

  The Chanceâ HELICAL PIERâ Foundation Systems is a patented stabilizing system that works on the principle of turning a screw into stable sub-soil. Lifting brackets attached to the Chance Piers and under the foundation can put the structure back on level. In fact, the Chance system is the only pier system approved by both national building codes: The National Codes of Building Officials and Code Administration International Inc. (BOCA and ICBO).

  Many new structures are using HELICAL PIERSâ Foundation Systems where soil problems exist, such as around lakes and wet lands.
